Controller
Personal data are processed by P3M Automation s. r. o., registered office Doležalova 3424/15C, 821 04 Bratislava — Ružinov, Slovakia, company ID (IČO): 53 728 696, which operates the Automatia platform. Please send any data protection questions to dzurik@p3m-at.com.
What data we process
For freelancers: first and last name, business registration number and tax ID (optional), contact e-mail and phone, profession and technologies, years of experience, location and willingness to travel, languages, rate, availability, profile description, reference projects, information on liability insurance and certifications including attached documents, CV and profile photo. For companies: name, registration number, tax ID, VAT number where applicable, billing address and the contact person’s details. We also process technical data needed for operation (login e-mail, time of registration) and payment records.
Why we process them and on what legal basis
Performance of a contract — providing the service itself, i.e. publishing the profile in the directory, brokering the contact and handling the payment. Consent — sending e-mail notifications about new relevant listings, which can be turned off at any time in the profile settings. Legitimate interest — platform security, abuse prevention and basic anonymised visitor statistics. Legal obligation — retention of accounting and tax records.
Who has access to the data
A freelancer’s contact details (e-mail, phone), their registration number and tax ID if provided, last name, full portfolio and attached documents are visible only to the platform administrator and to the company that paid for access or whose listing the freelancer applied for. This restriction is enforced directly in the database, not merely hidden in the user interface. A visitor who is not logged in sees only the first name, profession, technologies, experience, location, description and at most three reference projects. Infrastructure and service providers act as processors: Supabase (database and storage, EU), Stripe (payments), SuperFaktúra (invoicing) and the e-mail notification provider.
How we protect the data
Access to a freelancer’s contact details, last name and portfolio is enforced directly in the database (Row Level Security), not merely hidden in the user interface — it cannot be bypassed even by calling the server directly. Communication between your device and Automatia is always encrypted (HTTPS). Only people who strictly need the data for their work have access to it, and they are bound by confidentiality. Passwords are not stored in the database in readable form.
How long we keep the data
For as long as the account exists. After a freelancer’s account is deleted, the profile disappears from the public directory immediately; companies that already had access to the contact can see it for another 30 days with a note that the user deleted their account. After this period, contact details and attached documents are permanently removed from the system, including the company’s history. Accounting and invoicing records are retained for the statutory periods regardless of this deletion.
Transfer in the event of a sale or merger
Personal data may be transferred to a new controller as part of the business assets in the event of a sale of the platform or part of it, a merger or another reorganisation. The new controller remains bound by this policy until it changes it and informs users of the change.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing. You can do most of this directly in the application — the profile can be edited and the account deleted at any time. In other cases, write to dzurik@p3m-at.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic or with the data protection authority in your country.
Persons under 18
Automatia is intended for companies and industrial automation professionals for professional purposes. The service is not suitable for and not intended for persons under 18 — registration (including on behalf of a company) presupposes the capacity to enter into business commitments.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep you logged in and make the site work; without them you could not log in. Analytics tools for measuring traffic are turned on only after your consent, and declining them does not affect how the platform works.
Final provisions
We may update this policy from time to time, in particular when the services offered or the law change — the current version is always available on this page. For more significant changes, we will notify you by e-mail or by a notice in the application. Minor edits, such as correcting a typo or clarifying the text, do not change the date of the last update.
